Translational Data Analytics @ Ohio State faculty are incorporating data analytics into the study of art, history, and language, mining the growing body of cultural datasets with new tools and methods. Their use of parsing, machine learning, high performance computing, and other technologies allows examination of data on an unheard-of scale, at an unprecedented pace.

The rise of digital humanities allows improved access to information, greater collaboration among scholars, more-inclusive surveys, and the ability to factor in more sophisticated variables. Paired with scholarly interpretation, data analytics is a key to new, more-dimensional insights that help us better understand ourselves.
