Presenters sought for Community Engagement Conference

Proposals for presenters are being sought for Ohio State’s inaugural Community Engagement Conference, Jan. 24 – 25 at the Ohio Union. The theme is “Partnering to Advance Health and Wellness.” The conference will bring together community engagement practitioners (faculty, staff, students, and community partners) to focus on professional development and networking, while exploring new potential engagement partnerships.

Faculty, staff, students, and community partners are encouraged to submit proposals highlighting partnerships involving engaged teaching, engaged research, and engaged service that make an impact in the community and on scholarship. Proposals that focus on enhancing the skills necessary for success in engagement are also desired.

Those who are interested in sharing their expertise with the community can read guidelines and submit a proposal here.

  • Proposals will be accepted through Oct. 30
  • Presenters will be notified no later than Nov. 21
  • Conference registration will open in October
