Steve MacEachern

Professor and Chair, Statistics; Courtesy Appointment, Psychology; College of Arts and Sciences

Steve’s research interests are in the development and application of new statistical models and methodology. He pays particular attention to the development of realistic models with enhanced predictive capability. Many of the models are high- or infinite-dimensional hierarchical Bayesian models. Computational issues are handled as needed and often involve implementation of novel strategies.
