Big Data at OSC Workshop: Intro to Hadoop and Spark at OSC

The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) is hosting a Big Data workshop that will focus on running Hadoop and Spark jobs using OSC resources. Attendees will have an opportunity to try and experience running these software at OSC clusters.

Topics for this workshop include:

  • Introduction to Big Data
  • Data analytics at OSC
  • Running Hadoop and Spark at OSC

To participate in the hands-on exercises, attendees are required to bring their own laptops. OSC workshop accounts will be provided. Space is limited to 20 participants.
