Snyder to serve as panelist at Fast-A-Thon with Muslim Students Association
Ohio State's Muslim Student Association (MSA) will host the 8th Annual OSU Fast-A-Thon on Friday, November 17th in the Performance Hall of the Ohio Union. Doors open at 5:20pm and the event will start promptly at 6:00pm. Dinner will be catered by Lavash and the Muslim prayer, Isha'a, will be observed.
The gathering will focus on food security and the event will explore the topic of food security from the lens of different religions such as Islam, Christianity and Judaism. Brian Snyder, InFACT Executive Director, will serve as a panelist at the event.
All proceeds from the Fast-A-Thon will go to the Buckeye Food Alliance and My Project USA to benefit students on the Ohio State campus who may be facing food insecurity, as well as residents of the Hilltop neighborhood on the west side of Columbus.
