The Department of Physics in the College of Arts and Sciences at The Ohio State University seeks applications to fill a tenured professor appointment effective Autumn Semester 2016. Highly qualified candidates in experimental condensed matter and materials physics are invited to apply. We are particularly interested in candidates with an interest in novel two-dimensional systems. Applicants should have a Ph.D. and an outstanding research record. A commitment to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels is essential. Appointment is contingent on the university’s verification of credentials and other information required by law and/or university policies, including but not limited to a criminal background check.
