Bethany Dickens

Bethany Dickens received her Master’s Degree in History from the University of Central Florida in 2014, with a focus on Public History. Her research focused on the theories and methodologies of public historians including community education and outreach, oral history theory, digital history, and public memory. Bethany was a UCF Provost Fellow and completed a thesis on the history of training centers for the intellectually disabled in Florida. She joined Ohio State’s Office of Sponsored Programs in 2014 before becoming Program Manager for the Humanities and Arts Discovery Theme.
