Keith Gooch is an associate professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The Ohio State University. He came to Ohio State from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. Dr. Gooch’s research focuses on tissue engineering as applied to the cardiovascular system, cartilage, and diabetes, with emphasis on the regulation of the differentiation, growth, and remodeling of cells and tissues. He has published a host of articles in this area and is co-author of Physical Forces: Their Effects on Cells and Tissues. Dr. Gooch’s work has been funded by the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and the American Heart Association. He earned his Ph.D. at Pennsylvania State University.
